What is included in the rental price?
VAT, the Greek Climate Crisis tax, bed linen, bath towels, swimming towels, welcome pack, pool heating ( off peak) air conditioning in all bedrooms, Starlink Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, kitchen and laundry consumables (dishwasher tablets and salt, hand-wash, cling film, foil, kitchen roll, freezer bags, coffee filter papers, bin liners, and washing powder)
Is the villa equipped for children and babies?
We have two cots available- a traditional wooden cot suitable for babies up to 12 months and a mother care travel cot suitable for older babies and infants. Cot bedding is provided for both.
We also have a high chair and a booster seat for a dining chair.
We have cutlery sets, plastic tableware for infants and a liquidiser.
Unfortunately we do not have a stair gate as the stair well is too wide.
Do I need to hire a car?
We highly recommend car hire when staying at Villa Petalutha. Although Spartilas village is within walking distance, a car enables you to explore all that the island has to offer, making your holiday varied and memorable.
There are many taxi companies available if you chose to use these instead.
Are there amenities nearby?
Spartilas village has a bakery which opens early morning until about 10.30am. There is a well-stocked mini-market which sells all the essentials.
The village has four traditional cafe bars which serve a variety of drinks and snacks. It is about a 15 minute walk.
Where are the best beaches and tavernas?
There are beaches to suit every preference. The east coast has pebbled coves with crystal clear water and the beaches to the north or west coast have long stretches of sand. These are all within easy reach of the villa.
The nearest beach is Barbati, a 15 minute drive.

What entertainment is there at the villa?

Is it possible to have a chef?
Yes, it is possible to organise a chef. We have the contact details of an excellent local chef who can offer a varied menu to suit all tastes. She has been to the villa several times.
Can I arrange for a massage at the villa?
Yes, there is an excellent masseuse who lives in Spartilas village. She will come to the villa or can offer a range of beauty treatments at her home.
She speaks excellent English.
